Anne Frank House, Amsterdam
This is place where Anne Frank and her family lived in hidden for two year.
She wrote her diary when she was here and that became a world famous book
after the war time.
This place was owned by Otto Frank's( Anne Frank's father) company and there
was a secret annex located behind the movable book cupboard. They were helped by
four employees of that company but this hidden place is revealed later and they were
deported to concentration camps. The father, Otto Frank
was the only surviver from the war.
Today you can visit this hidden place and get some idea about how they lived
over there. Anne Frank's diary was translated for more than 50 languages.
Anne Frank House Directions and Transportation:
You can take either tram ( 13 or 17) or bus ( 170, 171 or 172) to
come to Anne Frank House Museum. Bus stop is Westermarkt.
If you are planning to take a walk from the central Station,
it will take around 20 minutes. You can get a area map from their
