The Houseboat Museum, Amsterdam
The House Boat Museum (the Woonbootmuseum), provides you the
unique experience about the life in a boat. This museum is in a
old commercial boat,which was build in 1914 and used to transport
goods such as sand and coal. Later this boat as converted to house boat
and it converted to living area. Today you can see skipper's
quarters, sleeping bunks, kitchen and bathroom.
You will get a information booklet from the them and you can take photographs
in side the boat. There is a play area for children in the houseboat museum.

Open Days in 2009 as follows.
January to February : Friday to Sunday
March to October : Tuesday to Sunday
November to December: Friday to Sunday
