Bangkok Songkran Festival
This is the Thai lunar new year held around 12th to 15th of the month of Aprial.
Buddha statues being bathed with water and water throwing activities happen between
locals. This is a fun event even though you get wet. Please protect your cameras from water.
The Kings Birthday Celebrations
All the Thai citizens has a great respect to their king. H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej
birthday celebrations happens in 5th of December. Houses and building gets decorated
and illuminated.

The Queens Birthday Celebration
Thai people celebrate H.M. queen Sirikit birthday on 12th of August.
The Royal Ploughing Ceremony
This ceremony held in 7th of the month of may to celebrate the commencement of rice planting season. This is a ancient Brahman ritual, re -introduced by the king again in year 1960.
Load Buddha’s Birthday
This is celebrated in may 15th. There are many Buddhist parades to sea.
Loy Kratong
The annual festival of Loy Kratong held on the full moon day of in the month of November. This festival is to get rid of troubles and calling for happiness. Kratongs made out of banana trunks covered by flowers and eliminated by candles were floated in the water.
