Volkspark Friedrichshain

  Volkspark Friedrichshain is a one of the oldest park in Berlin. This is spread through 52 hectare of land. Initial planning for Volkspark Friedrichshain started in 1840 and the park was open in 1848. The location was old vineyard. Few additions were done to Volkspark Friedrichshain after second world war 2.

  Volkspark Friedrichshain park consists with lakes, ponds and fountains. There is a open air theater in the middle of the park and there is A place to play volley-ball.

  This park is popular among children to old couples. You will find several children's playgrounds in Volkspark Friedrichshain.
