Teatro Colón (Colon Theater)
The Teatro Colón is located in the heart of the Buenos Aires down town. This theater is more than 100 years old and inaugurated on May 25th, 1908 with Giuseppe Verdi's opera "Aida". Teatro Colón considered as one of the great opera houses in the world. Specially famous for the great sound acoustics it has.

From Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm - (no show days)
From Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm - (show days)
Sundays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Teatro Colón Guided Tours:
Colón Theater organizes several guided tours for the visitors, who need to more in how this theater function and the history.
Guided tours are not available on some specific days due to schedule performances. You can get more information by calling 4378 7178.
English group tours depart at 11:00 am and 12:00, 1:00, 2:00 and Spanish group tours depart every 15 minutes.
For Portuguese or French, book your tour 48 hours in advance. Please note that Colón Theater group tour maximum size is 30 people.
