Copenhagen Metro
Copenhagen Metro is relatively a small network with compared to other European systems.
This is consists of two lines. One line connects Vanløse to Vestamager and other line is
Vanløse to Copenhagen airport. Both of the above lines are located in Amager island.
The Copenhagen airport metro station is located by the terminal three and ride to
city takes around 15 minutes.
Trains arriving in 2-3 minutes interval and they runs fully electronically, i.e. without a driver.
In night times, Copenhagen metro operate in 20 minutes interval.
Tickets can be purchased from ticket issuing machines in the airport. You have to buy special
tickets for carrying bicycles and pets. Tickets needs to validate by the machines available
in the station and its illegal to travel without doing so. Ticket checkers some times come and
check the tickets, and if you get caught, you will get a heavy fine.
