Dubai International airport is the first airport build in UAE and now
consists of two terminals and the third one is in finishing stage. Now there are
more than hundreds air lines running more than 140 destinations in the world. Dubai
Airport is located around 4 km south east of the city center positioned on
latitude 25° 25 N and longitude 55° 36 E.
The terminal one of the Dubai International airport also known as Sheikh Rashid
Terminal and reopen after renovation in year 2000. There are five levels in the terminal one,
first one is for duty free shopping. Departure and arrivals are located in second and
third levels respectively and other two levels dedicated top the airport hotel.
The Second terminal was built in year 1998. The terminal 3 is in his finishing stage
and it will be dedicated for Emirates Airline.
Facilities in Dubai International Airport:
Dubai Airport consists of all the modern day facilities and consider as a one of the
star grade airport in the world. Duty free shops are very popular among the travelers and
banking and ATM facilities, medical centre, pharmacy shops are also available. There are number of restaurants
available offering various types of foods and beverages. Visitor information desks are located in both the
terminals and showers also available. Disable access such as wheelchair and disable accessible toilets are available and please inform your airline in advance for other arrangements. Disabled passengers can access
special lounges near gates 9 and 22.
Departure Tax in Dubai Airport:
Airport departure tax is usually included in the ticket price.
Bus Service in Dubai International Airport:
Public bus service is available from the Dubai International Airport terminal 1 to the city in every 30 minutes intervals. Busses are Air conditioned and facilities are available for carrying baggage also. This cost only Dhs 3 and passengers can get regular public busses from Al Ghubaiba or Al Sabkha.

Other Transport Facilities in Dubai International Air Port:
Taxi services and car renting facilities are available in Dubai international airport also.
Visitors can rent a car with a chauffeur services. Dubai Transport airport taxi service cabs
are equipped with meters and there will be a pickup charge of Dhs 20. Total fare depends
on the distance traveled. Limousines can be arranged in the Arrivals Hall.
Its possible to park cars in short term ( Car Park A) or long term ( Car Park B)

Dubai International Hotel is located at the level 4 & 5 of the terminal 1.
This is a 88 rooms five star hotel with, swimming pool, health club, restaurants
and business facilities.
