Edinburgh has connection with
national rail transportation network and the central railway station is
Waverley station, which is located at New Town area. Haymarket Station is the
other main station and most of the trains stop there also.
Taxies are available for your traveling in Edinburgh with reasonable fare.
Visitors can get a taxi from taxi ranks, booking by phone or just hailing in
the streets. Extra charges may apply for late night traveling, extra passenger
or traveling in public holidays.
Visitors can rent a car also, but need to consider about the narrow streets,
one way roads and shortage of parking slots.
