Florence buses travels through the city and also connect the city
with the other parts of the country. So you can reach the most of the city attractions
through their bus service.

Florence bus service start from early morning and runs up to mid night.
There are some night bus service also available, but not frequent.
You will find less number of buses on Sundays and public holidays.
Most of the international coaches can be get from Lazzi Station,
which is located close to the main train station at Santa Maria Novella.
Those long distance bus services are run by companies call SITA, Copit,
Lazzi and CAP.
You can purchase Florence Bus tickets in advance. Usual single journey
ticket cost around 1.20 Euros and valid for 1 hour from the stamp time.
There are 3 hour tickets also available. If you are planning stay in Florence
for longer period, you better purchase 1 day tickets or 3 day passes.
You need to stamp the ticket at the beginning of the journey and it is
illegal to travel without doing so. Ticket validating machines are
available in buses.
