Lumpur has efficient bus service connecting city locations and some remote part
of the country. Some busses are air-conditioned and other are not so. There are
three main bus companies provide this service. They are Intrakota, Metro and
Park May's Cityliner and there are some other small authorities also.. Rates
may depend on the distance and service and please take change, because there is
no return change policy. If you are traveling long distance, you may need to
book seats in advance.
Puduraya Bus Station is the main one in Kuala Lumpur. If you are planning to
visit Singapore or Thailand by busses, there are services are available from
Paduraya bus station.
Taxies
Service in Kuala Lumpur:
Taxies are the
convenient way to travel in Kuala Lumpur and it can be say that its not that
expensive. Taxies are equip with meters and make sure its reset before starting
the journey. There will be flag down charge of RM 2.00 and rest of the charge
depends on distance you travel and the other factors. Please note that if you
are traveling long distance of out side the city limits, better to discuss and
finalize the charge with the driver before you start the journey. Additional
charges may applicable for extra passengers, Extra baggage and peak hours. Its
difficult to get a taxi in rush hours.

traveling in Malaysia and Singapore. the Eastern and Oriental Express travels
from Singapore to Bangkok, covers most of the regions in Malaysia. This roundup
