Smoking in public is
prohibited in Madrid, Spain and check for the non smoking signs. But some pubs
are restaurants allow smoking. Always check others are smoking before you do
so.

Tipping in
Madrid:
Hotels and restaurants
add service charge to their bills and visitors can keep a tip if the service is
up to the satisfactory level. Taxi drivers accepts tips which is around 5% of
the charge. Hotel staff also takes a small tip for baggage handling and etc.
Cash and
Credit:
Most of the credit
cards and debit cards are accepted in most of the hotels and restaurants and
always care about your money and cards. Credit card theft is common in Spain.
Currency used in Spain is Euro and notes available for 5,10,20,50,100, 200 &
500. Coins available for 1,2,5,10,20 & 50 cents. 1 & 3 Euro coins are also
available. Money changing facilities available with banks and money exchange
offices. ATMs are available in most of the common locations.
