Melbourne rail network is controlled by Connex Melbourne and consist of 200 stations & the Central City Loop subway. This is the main mode of transport throughout the greater Melbourne area. There are two main railway stations located in CBD, Flinders Street Station & Spencer Street Station.
Flinders Street Station is the main terminus for Melbourne metropolitan rail services and located at corner of Swanston and Flinders Streets.
Spencer Street Station is the main hub for country rail services and located at at the intersection of Bourke and Spencer Streets.
