The city of Moscow has very good Metro transportation system.
This is a very convenient , efficient and cheap way of transport with
compared to other means of transportations in Moscow. You can
visit most of the city attractions through Moscow Metro system.
Moscow Metro system operate from early morning to 12.30 mid night.
There are more than 150 stations are interconnected. Moscow metro
stations are decorated with artistic items also. There are many lines
in this metro network and each one has its own color. You can see metro
maps in each station and even inside the metro compartments. If you are new to
Moscow Metro, better to plan
your trip before hand, because you may face difficulty to understanding that.
You can easily identify the Moscow metro systems through "M" sign marked on.
Moscow Metro Fares and Tickets:
Moscow Metros has standard fares, regardless to the distance of travel.
If you are planning to use Moscow Metro for more than one day, you can
purchase multi trip or seasonal cards. Moscow Metro rush hours are from
morning to 10.30 am and 4.00 pm to 7.30 pm. Better to avoid that time.
