Statue of Liberty:
New York Statue of Liberty symbolizes the America and it’s freedom. This lady Liberty carries a book and a torch by her hands. This Statue is a never to missed attraction in your visit to New York. Statue of Liberty attract more than two millions of visitors in each year and can be reach by 15 minutes ferry ride from Battery Island.

Statue of Liberty is 151 feet high and it’s possible to climb to the top of it. From there you can get a panoramic view of the New York city and its Harbor. The Liberty park has some areas where you can sit and relax and eat and drink.

There are some high security proceedings happens before boarding to the ferry and again before entering to the statue.



Statue of Liberty History in Brief:
Statue of Liberty Created by Frenchman Frederic Auguste Barthold and a gift from France to America So this was build in France and shipped to New York as 350 pieces. The inside metal work was created by Alexandre Gustave Eiffel. Rebuilding was taken around 4 months and work completed in October, 1886.

Admission to Statue of Liberty:
Visitors get free admission to Liberty State Park. But you have to purchase the ferry tickets.

Statue of Liberty Opening Hours:
Ferris operate between 8.30 am to 4.30pm and Liberty Island closes at 6.00 pm. The last ferry return by that time.
