Ottawa is the capitol of Canada, located on the border between the provinces
of Ontario and Quebec. This is the forth largest urban area in Canada and just an
hours drive from the American border. The city got its name Ottawa from Indian word,
Outaouak.
This one of the most beautiful capitals in the world and there are number of
historical buildings were located in the center of Ottawa.
The oldest area of the city is also known as Lower Town, which you can find
between the canal and the rivers. Popular Ottawa tourist attractions
include parliament house, National arts center, National Gallery of Canada and many more.
Ottawa Winterlude carnival taken place in every February and lots of visitors coming
for skate, ice - carving and other winter activities. Annual tulip festival is taking
place in May.
The city of Ottawa has very good transportation facilities and visitors can use buses
or rail. Bicycles are also common and there are separate pathways also.
