City of Paris has two airports, Roissy/CDG ( named after Charles de Gaulle) and
Orly. Roissy is the place where most of the international flights arrive and
Orly is mostly for domestic flights.
Visitors can contact information counters for any inquiries and most of the
staff speaks English.
Roissy de Gaulle (Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport -CDG )
Located 30 km from city central this is the second busiest passenger airport in
Europe. This has very good transport facilities with the city central, so
visitor can choose either road or rail. “Roissybus”, a bus service available to
the airport from 6:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. takes around 45 minutes to the journey.
Minivan service available from most of the hotels with air-condition and
English speaking drivers with a reasonable cost. Taxi services also available
for airport but its little bit costly.
The terminals are interconnected with shuttle services and equipped with most
of the very modern facilities.

Paris Orly Airport (ORY)
Two terminal airport located near the town of Orly, 14 Km south of Paris
handles around 25 domestic and charter airlines. Shuttle train goes from Orly
Airport to link with the RER B Line. Car rentals, private shuttle services and
taxis available.
