The City of Paris consists of twenty Arrondissements ( administrative
districts). Each Arrondissements are named by a number and has their own mayor
also.
1st District, Paris (1ère)
The geographical center of Paris Arrondissements where the famous "Louvre"
located. Louvre was a one time palace and now converted to a museum. Area
quartiers includes Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois, Les Halles, Palais-Royal, Place
Vendôme.

The place where Paris Stock Market (the Bourse) is located. Area quartiers

Location for Paris Opera( Opéra Garnier ). North is Pigalle, the Red Light
district as well as the famous Moulin Rouge.
10th District, Paris (10ème)
The Gare de l'Est and the Gare du Nord train stations , where one can catch the
famous Eurostar "channel" train to London located here
11th District, Paris (11ème)
Consider as a residential district. The New Opera House and Place de la
Bastille located here.
12th District, Paris (12ème)
The place where Bois de Vincennes, a large park with a lake located.
13th District, Paris (13ème)
The eastern part where loarge number of Chinese and Asian restaurants and shops
located, call Chinatown.
14th District, Paris (14ème)
The park Montsouris, Rue d'Alésia recomemded place for clothes shopping, le
Select, le Dome, la Coupole are located here.
15th District, Paris (15ème)
Citroen gardens (parc André Citroen), located by the river.
16th District, Paris (16ème)
Consider as the neighborhood for the wealthy.
17th District, Paris (17ème)
Borders the Arc de Triomphe. Diverse district with many small neighborhoods.
18th District, Paris (18ème)
Hilltop neighborhood with a small village. bars and clubs located for tourists.
