This is brief
introduction to the major areas in Prague.
Prague 1:
Prague 1 is the oldest
part and consider as the heart of Prague. This is one of the crowded area in
the city of Prague and there are lots of restaurants, pubs and cafes located
here. Since this is the city center, most of the other city destinations can be
reached by short time. Prague one includes three major cities call Mala Strana,
Stare Mesto and Nove Mesto. As a average, living cost of Prague one area is
comparatively higher than other areas.

Prague
2:
Prague 2 area is
consists of part of the center and more in to a residential area with many
flats. There are number of restaurants and bars also located in this area. Good
public transport system is available here and thre major metro stations,
Namesti Miru, I.P. Pavlova and Jiriho Z Podebred located here. Most of the
buildings here are built on late 19th century or early 20th centuray, but under
gon some renovation.
Prague 3
Prague 3 Consists of
Zizkov and with a part of Vinohrady. There is no metro station in central area
but trams and buses are available. There are plenty of restaurants for dine.
Prague 4
This is a bit large
area including towns and many small villages. This is a residential area with
some farm lands. Main trans port facilities are trams and buses and metro
stationss are away for some area. There are not much tourist attractions and
less number of forighners live here.
Prague 5
Prague 5 is located
between the anks of the Vltava River and west edge of the city and residentila
area with apartments , flats and family homes. This has good public transport
also.
Prague 6
This extends from the
castle to the northwestern edge of the city na dmany embassies are located
here. You may get more single family homes here.
Prague 7
Holesovice is a cheap
place to live with metro and trains. Letna is cheaper and close to city centre.
Prague 8
Karlin is the one of
the worst affected area from 2002 flood.
Prague 9
This area still under
development and far away from the city centre.
Prague
10
Vrsovice is a popular
area in Prague 10 and less expensive.
