transport is a cheaper way to travel in Prague. Specially in peak hours, you
can get trams and metros in very short interval of time. Tickets can be
purchased from metro stations, news paper agents, tobacconist shops or even
tourist information centers and can be used for trams, busses and metro. Some

operated by Czech Railways covers routes between Prague and main cities and
towns. Tickets can be purchased from the train stations and need to make the
reservation in advance for some routes.
Praha Hlavni Nadrazi Train Station is the main train station in Prague and
located near to the Wenceslas Square.
Prague Funicular railway runs up to Petrin Hilside and travelers can get a good
view of Prague by that.
