The Colosseum, Rome
Originally known as Flavian Amphitheatre, the Colosseum had facility for 50,000 spectators. The construction work started in AD 72 by the emporor Vespasian and completed in AD 80 by emperor Titus. The Colosseum consider as the most famous attraction in Rome and charges apply for entering.

Castel Sant'Angelo, Rome
This was constructed between 123 and 139 AD by emperor Hadrian. This located on the banks of the Tiber and close to Vatican. This name was given because in 590 AD, Archangel Michael was seen flying up and sheathing his flaming sword while some religious event was taking place. A statue of the angel was placed on the top of the castle to commemorate that.

St. John in Lateran, Rome
One of the major basilicas in Rome. This was completely destroyed in 896 earthquake.

Galleria Spada, Rome
This is a art gallery and build on 1540. This was under Cardinal Spada and artworks display here are cardinal's art collection. This is located on Piazza Capo di Ferro.
Opening hours of Galleria Spada : 8.30 am to 7.30 pm Tuesdays to Sundays.

Bioparco, Roman Zoo
Located in Villa Borghese park area with lions, tigers, monkeys , elephants, zebras and many more species. This is a entertainment place, specially for children and there are some cafes and restaurants located inside.
