T-Money Card , Korea
T-money is a multipurpose card, which can be used for Seoul buses and subway systems. You can buy
T-money card from subway ticket counters a and most of the convenience stores. These cards can be
recharged from machines available with T-money vendors and subway stations. You can recharged from 1,000 won to 90,000 won as
necessary. This card can be used as a cash or credit cards in some selected stores.
Special T-money discounted cards available for children and teenagers.
How to use T-Money card in buses and Metro Stations:
Once you get in to the bus, you can place the T-money card on the sensor located there. You can get discounts when you have a
transfer between buses. To get these discounts, you need to place the card on the sensor by the rear door, when you are getting
down.
In the subway stations you need to place card on the sensor at the entrance and when you are leaving the station also.
