Shanghai Old Street, Shanghai
Do you want to see how the Shanghai and the Chinese life in old days, then visit to
Shanghai Old Street. This road is 800m in length and western section extends to Henan Road,
and eastern section to Renmin Road. There are decorated arches in both directions.
The eastern section of the Shanghai Old Street more into late Qing Dynasty days and early
republican days. The western side has more influence from Ming and Qing time architecture.
Tourists visit this area for sight seeing, shopping, buy souvenirs and observe Chinese traditions and
get a glimpse of rich Chinese culture. There are many restaurants and tea houses also.
