Singapore Busses

Cheap way of traveling and covers all most all the parts of the country. Charges in non air-condition busses are cheaper and visitors can buy fair cards, which can be used in busses and trains with minimum value of S$10. Consult bus captains( drivers) for the charge for your destination. Bus guides also available for few dollars.

Singapore Trains ( MRT - Mass Rapid Transport system)

The quick and cheapest way to travel and covers the major cities in the country. Please get the station map from nearest MRT station.

Taxies

Several taxi services available with a very good service. There will be a minimum fix charge (SGD 2.40 for first 1km or part) plus charges depends on the distance of travel (SGD 0.10 for every 225m UPTO 10 km and SGD 0.10 for every 200m). Additional charges will be automatically add the taxi meter unit value when traveling through the restricted high traffic. Additional surcharge will be applicable for midnight and advance bookings. Don't forget to experience the luxury "London Taxies" also.

Car Rentals

Visitors who holds a valid international driving license can rent a car.

Going to Malaysia via bus or train

Other than by air you can travel to Malaysia via train or busses. Even some visitors used to walk through the bride which connecting the two countries. Specially you can get a good view of sunset in the evening.
