Sofia is the Capital of Bulgaria and one of the oldest cities in Europe. This city is also
the largest city of the country and the main finance and commercial hub.

above the sea level and surrounded by Balkan mountains and Vitosha mountains.
This city has around 3000 years of history. Sofia was one of the major battle fields in second world war time.
Many of the city buildings were destroyed by the areal bombing and many lives lost. City of Sofia was captured
by Soviet Solders at the end of the war and became a member of communist east Europe later on. With the
collapse of Soviet Union, Sofia became politically independent.
City of Sofia attract many tourists from all over the world. The city of Sofia has pleasant summer time and
winter with temperature going below to the freezing point. The city transportation mainly contributed by taxis,
buses, metro trolley buses an trams. Sofia international airport connect this city with the rest of the world.
