Royal Botanic Gardens
Located by south of
Sydney Harbor, Royal Botanical garden shreds over 30 hectares of area.
Established on 1816, this is the area where governor Phillip grew his
vegetables.
This is open for tourists in most of the days in the year and visitor can spent
long time here by walking and seeing different verities of plant collection and
other attractions. The Sydney Tropical Center, which resides in a pyramid also
located here. There are lots of near by attractions including State Library,
The Mint, Hyde park Barracks, St: Mary's Cathedral and NSW Art Gallery.
Admission is free for the botanical garden, but there is a small charge to
enter the Tropical center.
There are enough transport facilities available for the Botanical garden its
just a walking distance from the Opera House. Enough parking places are also
available and you can use busses or trains. Sydney Explorer also stops close
by.

Open in 1988, Bicentennial Park has over 100 hectares of wet land and a park
land also.
This park offers free entry and offers free electric barbecues, picnic areas,
cycle ways. Tours includes Bird Walking, Wetland explorer, trackless train,
Park land discovery tour. There are various open spaces and shade structures
you can hire.

This is the Australian model of the London’s Hyde Park. Early days this was
used as a racecourse now converted to a green garden. The war memorial which
was build for Anzac solders who sacrifice their lives in first world war is a
famous attraction in this park.
Centennial

This 220 hectare park,
was established in 1888. Visitor can fly kites, ride horses, ride bicycles, do
barbecue and many other activities here. Admission is free but you have to pay
to hire horses and other equipments .
Royal
National Park, Sydney
This park consider as
the second national park declared in the world, covers around 15,000 hectares
of area. You can see the Aboriginal rock carvings also here.
