Go Transit operates from the Union station connecting the city with the suburb areas and small cities. They run in six routes. Via train connects all major towns in Canada.

Toronto Island Ferries
Ferry service from and to the Toronto Island is popular and it was operating since year 1960's. This service operated by City of Parks and Recreation Department. Ferries run year-round from the Toronto Ferry Docks at the foot of Bay Street to Hanlan's Point, Centre Island, and Ward's Island. There is no service available to Centre Island in winter seasons. Nowadays bicycle rides are becoming popular in Toronto and street bike lines are under construction. There are plan to create 500 km of on- street bike lines and 250 km of off-road paved trails also.
