Granville Island
  Granville Island is a must see attraction located in down town Vancouver. This was a native settlement
in yearly days and named after Lord Granville. This was not developed as rest of the city for a long time
but there were some industrial buildings were located.
  Granville Island development was started in mid 60's and with good town planning this is now became a prime
tourist attraction. Currently this is managed by
Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
  This is physically connected with the mainland by a causeway and home for many entertainment and fun activities.
There are number of restaurants also located in Granville Island. This becomes very busy in weekends and
millions on locals and visitors come this place yearly.
  Your kids will find this is a every enjoyable place to visit. There are many activities and places to visit
for them. There are ferries connecting different locations of the Vancouver with Granville Island.
You can reach this place by walking or car also.
