Vancouver BC Ferries
Vancouver BC Ferries are the main coastal ferry service provider.
They offer service from Vancouver to Vancouver Island, Guld Islands and Sunshine Coast.
Both passenger and vehicles are transported by this
service.
Vancouver BC Ferries has two main stain. One is at Tsawwassen, which is at south of
Vancouver downtown. Travel time is 45 minutes and off highway 99. The main destination
covereddia, Nanaimo and Gulf
Islands.
The other main station is Horseshoe bay terminal. That is located on
highway 1, just 25 minutes towards northwest of down town. They offer service to
Sunshine Coast, Nanaimo and Bowen Islands. It will take 50 minutes to reach north
of Victoria from Nanaimo. Sailing time from Horseshoe bay to Nanaimo is 1 hour
and 35 minutes. It will take
20 minutes to travel from Horseshoe bay to Bowen Island.
